God is Still Moving by His Spirit
We started our cell group ministry tonight. We started the meeting worshipping God and giving Him first place in our midst. The worship was powerful and refreshing as we could sense the moving of God's Spirit on the hearts of the worshippers. It was refreshing to sense and feel the rushing of God's Presence as He came down to consume our worship as an acceptable sacrifice. Then as we opened the Word to study the 'Beauty of the Lord' God's Presence was in the study and discussion. We could sense a strong anointing as I would sense the Spirit transitioning me from teaching to preaching at several points. Then we concluded and broke for refreshments, only the Presence of the Lord didn't break from us. As we talked over refreshments about differents ones in need of ministry spontaneous prayer broke out for those in need. Different ones would pray as led by the Spirit. Then the Presence of the Lord moved us into spontaneous worship as the Presence of God settled on us like a cloud. The moving of the Spirit was so strong that there wasn't a dry eye in the house. It was awesome! Then the word of the Lord came to us: "You have created for Me a seat to sit among you. You have invoked my Presence with your worship and willingness to wait upon Me. I am comfortable in this place." Praise God. That word evoked more worship from us.
What struck me was that the Lord was 'comfortable' in our midst. We often just run right by the Lord. We just don't take the time to wait on the Lord and experience His refreshing, renewing Presence where the Lord Himself ministers to us. God is still alive to those who are alive to Him!

What a sweet time with God. When God draws near and re-centers everything we're about, meeting every need we have and more. A study on the beauty of God, I have no doubt as you fill your hearts and minds with what God says about himself, He will literally manifest His beauty to you.I'm reminded of the scripture in John 17:24, where Jesus prays to the Father that we would see His glory and beauty. It's the Father, Son, and Holy Spirits desire that we behold His beauty.
