"Merry Christmas"

I hope everyone has a wonderful day today as you gather with family and friends. Of course Christmas today is all about gifts, meals, light, trees, and telling old war stories. Jesus Christ gets left in the dust of all our holiday activities. As believers we know that Jesus is the center piece of Christmas. In today's intolerate culture we can't go into our family gatherings preaching Jesus. They can turn off our preaching. But they can't turn off the preacher of our lifestyle. Walk right into our Christmas gathering and let the love of Christ preach to them, let the light of Christ preach to them, let the compassion of Christ preach to them, let the concern for others preach to them, let them eat before you eat preach to them, let the kindness shown to the one you dislike the most preach to them. In a culture that won't listen to preaching, preach anyway through your Christ-like behavior, they can't turn off your life! Merry Christmas and don't eat too much!
